It’s kind of disgusting, honestly. NOT THE SURGERY! No! This, I’m super happy it can be done and I’m really happy for you (hell, I might even do it for myself someday 👀)! No, it’s the fact that this life changing and sometimes, life saving surgery has to be approved by a third party who’s sole purpose is profit… it’s just awful.

That’s awesome. I’m not sure what a bottom surgery is but you seem excited about it so I’m happy for you. I had hip surgery recently and I was really glad it was also covered by the other party’s insurance. It was kind of expensive 😅
Bottom surgery is having the genitals operated on to match gender, which is used to treat the gender dysphoria caused by being transgender
Then I am very happy they are about to get that surgery. Thank you for taking the time to explain and educate me a bit. I’ll be honest I’m really out of the loop on the logistics of this process so I appreciate it when someone is willing to take the time to catch me up.
