  • Title: “Google’s Stance on Pixel Watch Repairs Sparks Controversy”

Summary: Google has recently confirmed that it does not offer repair options for cracked screens on its Pixel Watch, leaving frustrated owners to seek their own solutions. Despite the potential for repairability, Google’s warranty policy excludes accidental damage, leaving users with no official recourse for screen replacements. This lack of repair options raises concerns, especially as Google is expected to launch a new Pixel Watch 2 with a similar design. Meanwhile, California’s new right-to-repair act may force companies like Google to rethink their repair practices in the future.

  • Not saying it’s sustainable (it isn’t), but Amazon has an insanely high turnover rate, partially because new employees bring a fresh perspective and new ideas. It brings new energy and creativity.

Ofc Amazon achieves that turnover rate by treating people like shit and sooner or later they’ll run out of new people.

Developers don’t take control in scrum. They are empowered to work autonomously, which is a big difference. Devs provide the complexity of stories and the PO decides in what order the team is tackling them.

Scrum doesn’t mean everyone just does whatever they feel like.
