I used Graphene for a month. It was absolutely amazing, except from not having contactless payment.

Looks like they are a domain squatter, buying up domains and selling them at ridiculous prices.

But I don’t see search.app listed. Doesn’t mean they don’t own it tho, or perhaps they managed the acquisition of it.
It’s strange, because it seems like Google Domains is the registrant:
Registrant Organization: Google LLC.
Maybe MarkMonitor owned it and leased it to Google?

Both the Google subdomain and the TLD point to firebase hosting.

Firebase is essentially free hosting (and some Backend as a Service things).
I can’t find any details on who is behind it tho, and I don’t think there is any way to publicly find those details.
I’m guessing it’s some sort of link obfuscation or shortener service.

It might be that it is an official Google service for their apps, which is why they are the registrant.

Surely that only works if you have personally mined the crypto yourself.
And if you only use that wallet for paying for the same VPN service.
Crypto isn’t anonymous, the ledger of all transactions (IE the Blockchain) can be read by anyone.

I feel like Talos Linux is NixOS applied to a very specific purpose: kubernetes.
I’ve recently been playing with kubernetes, and talos linux feels like cheating.

I think NixOS could has a huge market unexplored of server side deployments. Install NixOS, connect to the fresh install via a CLI tool, apply the patches (flakes?), and have an easy way to reset to base NixOS when you make a mistake so you can try a different set of patches.
All from the cli, all with idempotent config files.

Unimogs are exciting

Do people really run zenarmour, snort or suricate on their desktop?
Feels like a network firewall thing to do DPI for the whole house, instead of a per-machine thing.

Ive seen an uptick in twitch users offering graphics packs for streamers.
I presume some company has figured out the prompts to get AI generated emote packs, and now hire people to offer this service randomly to small/medium streamers.

Make sure you use the right ends (get specifically cat6a ends, as most unspecified will be cat5e).
Make sure your equipment can support 10gbps.
And make sure your equipment can power 10gbps over the 100m (some sfp+ transceivers are lower power and can only do ~20m or whatever. I imagine the same applies to RJ45 based kit)
