This is for legal reasons mostly. They don’t think anyone reads this so they went for the most blunt and transparent language, which also gives them the most legal certainty. The banner is missing the reject all button though, which in Europe is seen as required by many of the privacy regulators.

I have an amazing wife and we share responsibility for our two kids. My 3y old sleeps well for the most part and our 1y old will get there, too.

I haven’t been to the Netherlands in a while either, but at Albert Heijn they had PB made from peanuts only, and I remember there being several brands that were like this. Miles better than in other parts of Europe.

I’m thinking I’ll leave the plants in the beds for the next tenants to enjoy. They’ll be able to harvest the squash, tomatoes and physalis I planted. Apart from the strawberries it’s all annuals which I can start from seed again next season so it doesn’t hurt that much :)
And I have plenty of tomatoes, cukes, melons and other plants in pots so it’s not like the season is lost altogether. All in all I’ll be fine even if the season is cut short for most of my garden.

I have many plants in containers so it’s not like I’ll lose everything, but the move has a bittersweet note.
In Germany we’re having the coldest June in years. We would gladly take some of your heat 🥲
Everything is growimg painfully slowly. I’m worried that melons and watermelons won’t ripen in time.
