It’s interesting you bring up the controls, because that is one of the things that instantly grabbed me about the game. Before I even knew what was going on, I knew I absolutely loved moving around in the world. I used to spin up the game just to zip about for a half hour.

But of course everyone is different. Not every game is for everyone. I really grew to love Outer Wilds more and more over the days.

If you get bananas and frozen blueberries, you can use that as a base for any kind of smoothie, really. Unless you just don’t feel like smoothies, which, valid.

Objectively I know I’m not accomplishing anything real when I play a game, but they still capture my “whole brain” like what you describe when watching a show.

I wonder where the difference comes from. Maybe I’m just more fidgety, so having something tactile to work on while watching the screen does it for me. :P

I disagree with the extent of your warning, but only just. I also originally bounced off of Chrono Cross because it wasn’t what I was expecting (3D Chrono Trigger). Once I went back to it like it was a brand new game, I grew to enjoy it on its own merits.

At least play it long enough to get the nostalgia whenever you hear the music come up on rainwave :p
