You know my friend, I am just starting this journey, and I haven’t got there yet, so I have no answers for you. TBH I don’t think I want to learn about anymore than the handful that I do. So far they all have positives to add to a life well lived but taken as a whole they don’t make sense. Or they are just plain ol straight fucked up.

I think without the literal centuries of religious oppression a lot of these problems wouldn’t exist in the 1st place.

Imagine a world where clothing is optional, where a man could kiss another man without any fear, where we weren’t scolded CONSTANTLY for natural feelings, natural habits, natural desires …

Sure predation would still exist, after all we’re just animals, but I don’t believe that we would have the problems at the same magnitudes that we do today.

It’s nice that mothers have a place like this, it’s horrible that they are needed.

Conservatives and religion made this a necessity that mothers have to hide when feeding their children naturally.

I hate this so much.

I’ve been living full-time off the grid for six years on my Bayfield 29, either sailing or at anchor. After storm season I’ll be leaving the States bound to Colombia, Brazil & Panama.

If you are looking to make the crossing on a sailboat under 50’, there are a few hitchhiker facebook groups that are pretty active. Maybe start in the FBG 'All Things Sailing" and move on from there.

Such a shame. I grew up a couple of miles from his old house, Terry/HH would be out on the town, autoparts, picking up take out, riding his motorcycle, regular dude / dad stuff etc etc. He had a reputation of being super nice, soft spoken, and a good tipper, you know in the before times of long ago.
