I do the same. I don’t understand why it puzzles some people. They look at me like I put a padlock on it and I have to undo it for them, which is just pulling the end…

I tie a slip knot. That is stupidly easy to do/undo, but apparently I am hated for it.

I think everyone has explained the how and why, but not any real solutions that don’t involve using a completely different application. I don’t have an iPhone in front of me, but with Android you can share as a link to Google Photos instead of sending the picture/video directly. I am pretty sure you can do something similar with iCloud. Have her try the share as iCloud link instead.

Update: I just tested it. I had them open up Photos, go to the image/video, tap the share button, and then if you scroll down a tiny bit there is a share as iCloud link. I was able to view it just fine on my Android phone.

I had a friend do this. It was utter misery for over a year. Most of his teeth were shattered, so he had to wait for a lot of fragments to expel naturally.

Do not discount pain management that involves opioids. Not saying to use them for weeks nor do I know your personality for bad habits, but if it gets bad please don’t suffer for no reason. Getting ibuprofen or acetaminophen with low dose codine may be a good middle ground and is even available over the counter in some countries. Extended pain is mentally exhausting and isn’t worth the hit on your mental health.

f you are struggling taking pills, get liquid ibuprofen. Sometimes you can get a chemist to make a suspension for you, otherwise get childrens. I do that if my throat gets too infected and I am unable to swallow. Honestly, it works far better than the pills and I needed a lot less.

Best thing is to be honest with your doctors, even if you do not want anything stronger. Be sure to communicate any discomfort due to ill fitting dentures. Ask questions if anything unexpected comes up. My friend’s doctor was super shitty and didn’t even tell him about all of the left over fragments that still had to come out on their own.

No idea about which specific type of business it is, but keeping that history long term can have some benefits, especially to outside people. Some government agencies require companies to keep records for a certain number of years. It could also help out in legal investigations many years in the future and show any auditors you keep good records. From a historical perspective, it can be matched to census, birth, and death certificates. A lot of generational history gets lost.

Companies also just hoard data. Never know what will be useful later. shrug

Me too! I have used it for a couple other non-rpi devices in the past as well. It is super simple and works on my Mac. I haven’t even looked at other utilities in years.

That was the best day ever when it went down a few years ago while I was doing an install of an Amazon site. They have some “test” software that we have to run to validate the system and it was completely down. Still got some things done that day, but it was utterly hilarious to watch all of the Amazon personnel run around in a panic for a few hours. Fucking Prime trucks stuck on the side of the road with no instructions on what to do next. Utterly precious.

You have to have a really high AC, which is really easy to get for Shadowheart/Cleric with all the heavy armor and other healer gear available. Add the Blood of Lathander mace, and you are set.

I at least got one of those little cheap half size ironing boards that I can hide by the dryer. I iron special occasion clothes and that one silk shirt I love to straighten the button strip whatever if it is egregious… Otherwise it sits unused 99.5% of the year.

I know right? I have seen seen vision systems do some impressive things, but they are carefully calibrated to work in a specific way under certain conditions. Some of the ones my company works with get fed CAD in real time so the robot knows what to look for.

Thank you. I admit I don’t use Firefox right now due to issues I ran in to during my trial run earlier this year. Once the battery drain issues are fixed on the Android client I can at least switch back to it on my phone.

My company surprised me last week as we did an install and things didn’t work right in Firefox for the customer. My boss and the team are committed to fixing it and doing better on browser testing. There was not a moment of hesitation on this decision. We of course told them to use Edge, Safari, or Chrome in the meantime, but by no means are we throwing it on the bottom of the “fix” pile. Team is almost done and ready to send to QA. Super proud.

I use this on all on my Pis. It just works. I like the text config file for headless installation and how you can even add scripts to run on install too.

I love purple, but I constantly click on Discord instead of Teams throughout the day. Too many icons with the same or similar color scheme.

I am so glad my new job had sense to say no. Their cost benefit analysis pretty much said the amount of pain, man hours, and bullshit it would cost to run far outweighed the higher price of the alternative product they went with.
