WTF?! They burn wood pellets? Seriously? How is that even vaguely a renewable resource?

Just an inch to the right
Pineapple juice can be used as a meat tenderizer, for cooking.
That’s terrible! Thankfully I’ve never had a Dr give me a hard time for ADHD meds. Is there any chance you could see a different Dr in your area? You don’t deserve to be treated like that.
Oh my God dude it’s such a pain! Also I can’t refill on day 30. I have to be completely out, but the pharmacies don’t open until 9. So if you need to be a work at 9, you get to pick between being late for work or nit taking medication. 🙃
Aaaaaand sometimes is a “controlled substance” so you have to get a new prescription every month. No 90 day supply, refills, or auto renew. 🥲
I don’t know what you are talking about. I don’t know of any legitimate inhaled drugs that aren’t for treating the lungs.
Are you maybe thinking of narcan? It can treat an overdose of fentanyl.
Inhalants in general are not good for you. Vaping introduces water, smoking introduces ash/smoke. There are no benefits to vaping or smoking. Unless you are being prescribed it by a doctor. I mean drugs are not good for you. But if you are going to, your body can usually deal with it well with moderation. Edibles are better than inhalants.
Drowning is very fast, seconds not minutes like in the movies. People in distress can take minutes before they are actively drowning. Active drowning is silent, they will not be yelling for help. It looks like the person is “climbing” or pushing down at the water. They will be vertical in the water and may be “bobbing”, going underwater and resurfacing. They will have their head tilted back parallel to the surface of the water.
If you see someone go under in open water keep looking at where they went under while calling for help, don’t take your eyes off it. If you are the only one who saw them go under, your job is to direct others to where they went down. In open water it’s very hard to find people because the bottom isn’t visible.
The Florida thing is also just a joke. BTW
Yeah, but it’s making other people aggressive outside of the country. So its not very helpful, you can’t police people in other countries. This whole thing is like pedestrians walking in a crosswalk without looking for cars. Yes, the pedestrian has the right way, and the car should stop. But being right doesn’t really matter if you’re dead.
I get that. But I think the danger is from outside the country, so they aren’t going to be arrested.
Yeah. Okay, sounds good.
They have treated the waste water, so it isn’t dumping. The water is well below the recommended parameters for releasing water.
There is nothing wrong with this. People are just freaking out because its “nuclear waste”, which causes people to be irrational.
And if you purposely antagonize people who are known for killing people who disagree with them, you don’t either. It’s like yelling fire in a crowded room, for any reason other than there being a fire.
Yeah it’s ridiculous, but they aren’t just burning their own property. They are filming it with the purpose of causing problems. And it did. They can’t do whatever they want if it endangers others. In an ideal world no one would react with physical violence to words. But we don’t live in that world.
I’m not a fan of that law existing, but I can see why they would want it.
Why not just make a law against inciting acts of aggression? Filming yourself burning religious texts is purposely trying to piss people off. That way it would cover anything that has the same goal without being just about religion. Freedom of expression, unless it’s just trying to make others angry.
Lets the law handle each case individually.
If grown as a crop I can see that. But taking from forests changes the forest permanently. I see your point, I guess I’m taking issue with what I associate with a renewable resource when talking about energy. That is is “green” and not bad for the environment.
Saying trees are carbon capures so its carbon neutral just seems crazy to me. Burning wood emits more carbon dioxide than coal for every unit of electricity produced. The older the tree the more carbon it can store, which is in its wood. Mature as in 35-75 years. Cutting down mature trees out of forests and planting new ones isn’t carbon neutral. But I can see an argument for planting tree plots in already cleared land to get a system set up for rotations.
