  • For the 2nd point:

Mixing it doesn’t reduce it to 1fa - it still makes your accounts immune to Passwort leaks and common attacks

You are only at a 1FA level if someone hacked your PW-Manager but in that instance you’re most likely fucked anyway

Sure for the most important accounts having 2FA in another app is good so you can at least secure those if the PW-Safe leaked but I have 2FA on every single website I use(d) that offers it - even if I’m only on there once a year so using a special app is less important than just having the additional security in the first place

  • An inventory management button that would automatically distribute wares to the character with the least carried stuff would already hope a lot - especially if we would be able to save that every cup, fork, etc would automatically be marked as wares and if there was a way to mark multiple things as wares at the same time (and if " sell all wares" would sell everything from all inventories present and not just for the talking character)

Selling wares remotely that are in camp and having an option to automatically send everything marked as wares to camp would also help a lot

I feel as if BG3 could do a lot more with the “wares” marker to make the weight limit less annoying

Moving cups and plates from one char to another just isn’t fun

  • The only thing annoying with BG3 is that “sell all wares” only refers to those at the current character

I’d have liked it if stuff marked as wares would always be automatically distributed between the characters (or that there was a button to do this)

Also why can I select multiple items at once and move them between characters but not mark multiple items as wares?

Why can’t I save that every cup I pick up should go to wares automatically?

I feel as if BG3 could’ve made the whole carrying thing far less annoying with ways to do less inventory management

  • One of the biggest German meat production companies started introducing vegetarian and vegan products 10 years ago - last year they made more profit from then than from their meat branch and are remodelling meat-processing factories for replacements - it’s just like everywhere - if you don’t lead or follow the change you’ll have to try to stop change itself

The shitty thing is that this culture war against replacements is also majorly fucking up our chances to combat climate change as a change away from the meat-heavy diet most people have on a population level would be one of the most effective changes we could make as a society to give us a better chance…

How much money do you spend on journalism each month OP?

The right exists because people want everything for free (meaning with ads) so producing the stuff that generates the most clicks is what people get.

If you want investigative journalism you have to show that by paying for that

  • Won’t stop the meat producing companies or the oil companies from existing - that just moves the emissions of them to their heirs.

That metric is really bad - as long as there’s demand for gas or meat those emissions need to be attached to someone - and attaching them to the owner just takes away all responsibility from everyone and tells them that they don’t have to change anything.

If BP would Stop producing oil tomorrow the price would probably jump but then other companies would step in and fill that gap and nothing would’ve changed pollution wise.

  • Or if I’m in the 10% bracken and have invested most of that money in the Stock-Market I’d get a fraction of the emissions of all companies in the world?

I feel like those articles are just so people have someone else to point fingers at and feel as if they don’t have to change anything themselves.

Sure personal responsibility alone won’t help without laws but those laws won’t happen if people show that they are behind those measures.
I want to see a politician trying to triple the gas prices and the prices on meat and see that politician be elected.
People really think they are existing in a vacuum and companies are only polluting for the fun of it - but don’t accept how the by far biggest contribution is the average Livestyle of everyone…

Banning private jets and things like that is probably a good idea to get people behind you but I feel as if it’s mostly a gesture compared to a law that would slash meat consumption in half or tackle the fact that everyone sees going everywhere in their truck when biking or walking would’ve worked fine. The single person doesn’t have power but everyone together has and politicians want to get elected so they only tackle an issue when they feel the people are behind them.

  • I think the most important part is that it launched without DRM on GOG and was able to be pirated from day 1 and it STILL was a huge success because people knew that the game isn’t trying anything shady to get even more money from you

It’s just something people actually want to support and not like people feel like even if they buy the game they only have half an experience if they don’t spend more money later

I really hope the next financial report from Larian is making people think differently about the necessity of putting aggressive DRM in their games

People don’t pirate because they don’t want to pay - they pirate because they don’t trust the game to bit pull more shady shit later and not be worth it in the end

  • Yeah I’m not denying that

It’s not uncommon in summer but to that extent it is - and my comment only said that it’s not an autumn thing in Germany and I stand by that since it’s usually only happening during summer storms or in winter

In autumn it usually just rains since we don’t have those extreme short storms after a calm day the same way we have in summer and hail only happens with those
