I want a world where Biden represents the Right party I hate.
The Democrats are a far-right party by international standards.
But right now, he’s representing the only party that isn’t making a goal hurting people I love.
I guess we’ll downgrade the mass murder charges to mass manslaughter since the Democrats don’t explicitly state that they want to commit genocide, even if their policies always result in genocide.
There are dead people I care about that would be alive if Trump had lost to Hillary in 2016.
100% probability Hilldawg would have killed as many or more people than Trump did. They just would have been overseas or in amerikkka’s internal colonies—out of sight, in other words, so liberals like yourself wouldn’t have to worry about them. “Fascism is okay as long as it doesn’t negatively impact me.” More people have also died of covid under Biden compared to Trump (specifically because of Biden’s anti-vaxx, anti-mask policies), while the proxy war Biden started in Ukraine has resulted in hundreds of thousands of needless deaths.
My problem isn’t people saying Biden is bad. My problem is people saying he’s as bad as Trump. As a president, he is absolutely fucking not.
Without doing research, name a specific policy passed by Biden or the Democrats since January 2021 which has improved your material life.
Coronavirus, capitalism, climate change, nuclear weapons, the most recent normalization of Nazism which began with Biden’s presidency, etc.
Not disagreeing with you but do just want to note that as an American, when I travel into Canada, the instant I cross the border, it’s like a weight being lifted from my shoulders. Everything about it just seems less frantic and insane. Canada is also an imperialist settler-colonial dictatorship (a few mining companies in a trench coat), but one which does indeed do a better job of providing for its people.
I can also recognize that their autocratic ruling party represses and censors their citizens, and I don’t think that is a good thing. I wish the best for China and truly hope that some day, all their citizens will be able to express themselves freely.
The USA imprisons more people per capita than China. There are also limits to free speech in the USA, as evidenced by the bourgeois regime’s brutal crackdown on the George Floyd protests among countless other examples. Which society is more free exactly?
Americans generally being unaware of how far their country has fallen behind the rest of the world in virtually every respect (except sucking). Despite increasingly obvious problems that intensify every day, large numbers of Americans believe that American “democracy” is the end of history and as good as it gets. If you criticize their country, they will blame the other major political party (even if both major parties have indistinguishable far-right policy outcomes since they are both owned entirely by the bourgeoisie) or say that other countries also have problems, ignorant of the fact that those problems are either less severe or caused by the USA. Either that, or Americans will assume that you are a paid shill or insane, since no one on Earth could possibly have a legitimate reason to despise America. American ignorance is profound and purposeful even among highly educated Americans. Americans believe the shittiness and backwardness of their country, the half lives even the happiest and most successful among them live, to be humanity’s permanent and ideal state.
This is an issue with the bourgeois character of American society and government. Monopolies are not a problem if workers control them.
I just didn’t understand the way your question was worded because it was garbled. I don’t have any reason to host a data server and I don’t live in China, so you got me, I’ve never been personally impacted by Chinese government censorship and repression. Obviously that means it doesn’t exist, QED.
“The Chinese government has never done anything that has negatively impacted me or anyone I know, I have never known a Chinese person I disliked, yet I passionately despise China. I am extremely different from Republicans who have never set foot inside an American city yet are terrified of doing so. It’s you tankies who are propagandized, not me!!!”
I intend to live in a communist community, and to make you live in one as well. Who is or was a real communist?
If I’m poor and I fight for communism, I’m not a real communist, I just want to be rich. If I’m rich and I fight for communism, I’m a hypocrite. Who is a real communist? Do real communists exist? Please keep telling yourself that we aren’t real. It’ll make it easier for us to save the planet from bourgeois scum like yourself who are trying to destroy it.
Should I reiterate the questions I already asked which you refused to answer? Just remember that it was a Marxist who defeated you, and that if you can’t beat us, you should consider joining us. Start by reading The Communist Manifesto online. It’s the last thing your boss wants you to do 😉
And you’re rather disappointingly refusing to answer pretty basic questions. Losing ideological battles online is a prelude to losing them in the real world 😉
I think you’re confusing my disappointment in humanity as acceptance of their behavior.
I assume you believe that human nature is an omnipotent and unchanging concept that influences the material world without being influenced by it. If I am correct, how is your conception of human nature different from the Christian conception of God? And if I am incorrect—if you believe that human nature can change—doesn’t that mean that communism is therefore possible and that we should do everything we can in order to achieve it?
Do you have anything that was produced in a sweatshop? Of course you do. You’re typing on it. So, don’t be all high and mighty now. A real communist would reject such things. I guess you’re just making excuses for capitalism too, liberal.
Did capitalism randomly originate one day out of the void? Or was it created by feudalism’s collapse? Were the first capitalists hypocrites for using feudalism (long-term rents, for instance) to destroy feudalism itself? Do you think that any of them cared?
As for the feudal, lords… I’m pretty sure we still have a group of rich people making decisions for all of us, and we just think things have changed—but they really haven’t and most of us are still forced to work to live. Not terribly far from indentured servitude.
Do you live on a manor and are you a peasant, like 90% of feudal people? Do you pay half your annual harvest in kind to your lord and to the church? Are you forbidden to leave this manor by law? Are you able to access the commons for your own material sustenance (food, firewood, construction materials)? If you answered no to any of these questions, then you aren’t actually living under feudalism and there is actually a difference between good and bad things!
I never said I excused it. I’m just not deluded enough to think that people, as a whole, WILL actually change even if I want them too.
I’m not excusing it. I’m just saying that destroying it is impossible. See the difference? /s
Do you think that feudal lords thought it was possible (in the 1500s, say) that capitalism would destroy them and take over the world?
You can disguise your actual identity with whatever words you like, but excusing capitalism is liberalism.
Okay, then you are a liberal 😉
Ah, okay, capitalism. I can’t doxx myself because that’s fed shit, but the thousands of comments I’ve made on this subject on hexbear should strongly suggest that I am quite dedicated to the destruction of capitalism. Do you even believe that destroying capitalism is possible or desirable?
Why would I want to destroy communism? It doesn’t really exist outside of a few extremely isolated communities. I’m trying to make it a global thing!
Do you have a plan for destroying capitalism?
America might be flawed but it’s still overall a force for good in the world.
Biden might suck but we should still vote for Democrats on the state or local levels and participate in the [nonexistent] primary to put pressure on Democrats because they are clearly better than Republicans and progressives would never lie to us (cough bernie cough fetterman cough AOC).
Communism is impossible because it goes against human nature.
China is capitalist.
Organizing for revolution in the USA is hopeless.
It’s impossible to scientifically understand human societies, even though humans are part of nature and nature can be scientifically understood.
We can solve all our problems with technology alone. There’s no need to change anything else.
Things will be better in the future even if I don’t actually do anything to make them better. (This one has been an issue for me. “The future” for a Marxist like myself isn’t terribly different from religious visions of paradise.)
