I don’t remember if I saw this one in person or not, but the Morton rotates through large, nature-inspired sculptures like this every few years. And you’re right, a lot of them will include natural materials but they are generally metal or concrete shells over a metal frame.

I do find it interesting/funny that Google felt the need to actually provide this, as a sort of acknowledgement that their main search “results” page is so full of random info boxes and generated content that people can’t find actual links anymore.
Personally, and In principle at least, this makes sense. About half of my web searches are looking for a quick answer to a question (what’s the per pound cook time for a frozen turkey?), so having that answer highlighted and summarized alongside the source is very useful. It’s actually the minority of the time that what I really want is a link to an external resource.
The effectiveness of that implementation and the accuracy of the summarized info is a whole other topic…

Yeah I feel like we’re getting somewhere now. The connector on the PCB is called a ZIF (zero insertion force) connector. Normally they are specified by the number of pins, the pitch of the pins, and whether there is any locking feature or “ear” on the sides of the ribbon cable. It looks like a standard latching connector made by any number of companies.
The ribbon cable looks like it is custom designed for the display’s electrical pin out and the mechanical design of the enclosure.
If you can figure out the mfg of the display itself, you should be able to figure out the ribbon cable pinout.
I know a fair bit about connectors and circuit fab, but not an EE so hopefully this helps!
