I love you.
I love you.
Yea, the Bing chat (or what it was originally called) sometimes used to tell people to learn coding instead of asking it to generate code.
Yes, the classic “no” problem of YAML. But the addition of the comments is very nice.
QED. I stand corrected.
Yes. Single state. Although Spain complicates things a bit. I just find saying “States is a state” extremely weird. Like saying “Ducks is a duck”.
No, are you? (Wtf, is this reddit or something?)
“The US is a failed state” is just grammatically incorrect sentence.
Still no, United States are STATES (plural), not a State (singular).
No, United States cannot be a state, that’s just grammatical nonsense.
You don’t have to use the same provider as me :) I’m sure proton mail has some offerings in this vein; other common choice is Tutanota or perhaps Startmail.
See for example this list https://www.privacytools.io/privacy-email
Except I would HATE 1. having the full computer use the Android OS (or ios) 2. Not having full access (administrative / root) rights on my computer, for some vague security handwaving.
Don’t try to host your own email server, at least not at the start. It’s really hard and the main issue is not technical - makn issue is fighting with big providers so they don’t refuse your mail.
Instead, use a professional mail provider allowing custom domains (I use mailbox.org). You can still keep using your domain for web / http access for other services you selfhost, you just point mail-related DNS records to the mail provider (they all have guides about how to do that).
Don’t forget migrating your accounts in various online services if you used Gmail or Google login for registration.
For mail address, it is best practice to register your own domain and use any reputable mail service provider that allows to use custom domains. This way your address is not tied to the provider and you still own it in case of any issues with the service provider. This means you don’t loose access to the online services when Gmail (or anyone else) decides to block you.
Well… I bought a Xiaomi (global) phone on a basis of it being unlockable… And after two months of unsuccessful attempts and useless back and forth with their support, I can only say: fuck Xiaomi too.
Calculating hashes is supposedly more expensive for longer strings. That could be used to simplify some kind of overload attack like DDOS.
That’s a fucking Google, an advertising company, for you.
Hahaha, totally nothing like I described it, but yes, this is the original clip. Thank you!
But white house agrees: https://www.infoworld.com/article/3713203/white-house-urges-developers-to-dump-c-and-c.html
I think they meant the “finance guy” insulted the whole “race” of “developers”, but otherwise they agree.
