I have no useful info to add but posting to follow since I’ve got one of their 220s that’s kind of flaky and have been debating poking around inside.

Full sun in the fall and it was waffling between 0w and ~18w while feeding an AC200P. But the next day with almost exact conditions and location it was getting around 180w for awhile at least.

Then life got busy and 9 months later I haven’t retested. It was “free” with a promotion though.

When I got mine, the doc said I should wait about two weeks then “ejaculate as frequently as possible” before returning for the scheduled checkup/semen test.

I bought a topo map a few weeks ago for a backpacking trip. Electronics are heavier and less suitable for that purpose in my opinion.

I have one at a cabin in the mountains that has no internet or cell service. It required internet access to sync/auth with my phone so I did it at home then moved it to the cabin. I think it needed to be auth’d to an Amazon account, despite never planning or wanting to use it with an account. It was a “prize” from work.

It is literally impossible for it to connect to the internet at its location but it is a pretty good speaker. Perhaps the loneliest IoT device ever, but I’d never use it in a connected state.

If you only want it for a speaker, you could wall it off to prevent Internet access even at home
