Same here. No longer on Reddit every day since I deleted Relay from my phone. But I do still tack “Reddit” at the end of my searches since it makes my searches much, much more useful.
Whenever someone calls something “socialist”, ask them to explain socialism to you and watch their argument fold like a wet blanket. They usually have no idea. In fact, many would love a healthy dose of Northern European socialism in their lives, as long as you call it “Owningthelibism” or something.
This is why we can’t have nice things.

On the one hand I agree, it’s not just the OS that’s replaced, it’s also the programs that run on it (unless they use cloud based apps, of course).
On the other hand, the Germany example you mentioned was 15 or so years ago. I imagine Linux has matured a lot since then.

All those blue bird icons on millions of sites. Good luck getting those to change to x. Of all the dumb moves Musk has made, this ranks as the second dumbest. Of course, the dumbest move was paying 44 billion dollars for a site that realistically was worth 5-10 billion, and that was before that knucklefuck took over and ran it straight into the ground.
