It’s supposed to be pronounced Xperia 5 “Mark 5”, but for some reason they didn’t use the actual universally agreed notation for “mark” of either “mk V” or straight up “mark V”.

You’ve got a budget 10 iii. It does not have an amazing screen.
One of the main talking points in every single video about Xperias is the 21:9 screen. You’re living in make believe land.
Same size as the galaxy.
The S23 is virtually identical in size to the Zenfone btw.

Also bucking the trend of being well supported, having a LTPO screen, and not being 2x overpriced.
putting it in a pocket is way easier, it almost disappears
Most peoples pockets have depth problems, not width. Having a tall 21:9 phone makes that problem worse.
I only have the budget Xperia 10iii
Oh ok.
good cameras,
Nope. Garbage cameras.
These things are really beautiful. No iPhone clones here. Sony has it’s own design language which no one else has.
They’re the typical glass and metal slab. What’s so different about their design?
I promise you this is no poor quality display.
Says the person who doesn’t have one and hasn’t used one.
Sony have the best TV displays in the world
No they don’t.
That they’re not going to die from climate change, because they’re not.
Depends what you consider good and decent. A good photographer can take a good photo with a bad camera, but a good camera can make a bad photographers photos look better at least. A flagship camera takes a much better photo than a mid ranger does. The lenses are bigger, they’re better lenses, and their ISP is better.
Awesome, a high end graphics feature that brings even the biggest dGPU to its knees just got better on a mobile phone with a 6” screen and tiny battery. That 8 minutes of playing before the battery dies sure will look fancy!
The camera isn’t good enough on the Xperias. It’s getting there with the V, but still not up to par with the others.
There’s more to a camera/photo than megapixels. Image processing and Computational photography are significantly better on flagships than on budgets and mid rangers. At this stage it’s almost the biggest difference.
Performance, screen tech, build quality.
Or a decent camera.
It doesn’t have “everything” if you want a flagship device, especially the cameras.
Do they even make phones with less than 128gb now?
The “power user” phones don’t have SD slots either though.
The base level of storage and cost of upgrading to higher storage should be cheaper, but micro SD cards are garbage, especially on android. I had nothing but problems with them on mine, leading to me ignoring the slot on my last few phones that had one.
It was actually one of the most W3C compliant browsers there is, more so than chromium based ones. Unfortunately google’s near monopoly has made websites focus on working in chrome, not on standards.
Edge wasn’t always chromium. It was their own engine and it was great, but too many people complained essentially that it wasn’t chromium so they switched to chromium.
I live going to the store to buy the new Sony WH1000XM5s, the name just rolls off the tongue.
