There are versions out there but afaik it’s super awkward to find them, I’ll see if I can find the one I used a couple months ago again and send a link here if I do

It’s the last ocean liner in existence and it’s more efficient than a cruise ship but yeah it’s still pretty fuel hungry. There aren’t any commercial sailing ships left anymore though even in a cargo capacity, companies don’t run them because their speed is so inconsistent that they can’t run on a regular schedule.
I called mine Sasha just so I could reference meet the heavy if anyone ever moved the seats
None of that it was just one of the Easter sermons and they were telling a story about jesus, the way they said he always referred to himself as god just felt like it was some sort of heavens gate situation
Yes but she doesn’t go to church often, she convinced me to come with once and it took me from being an atheist who isn’t opposed to Christianity to being fully convinced that it’s just a worldwide cult
The Abroad in Japan podcast, they’re pretty short but they make a couple a week
I’ve seen some vegan teacher clips and tbh it doesn’t surprise me that she’d say that cause she’s far off the deep end
Tbf the energy issues are getting better, or at least there are some more efficient models being created. Back in April there was a version of Llama that only needed 8gb to almost match GPT4
Bird flu has always been able to jump from birds to humans but not from any other livestock because it wasn’t able to jump from mammal to mammal (that’s why it’s called bird flu instead of something else) that’s also why people are concerned because in less than 2 years it went from being a disease only birds could spread to multiple mammal species suddenly being fully susceptible to it.
I was coming round a bend about a day after it had rained, turns out there was a pothole under a tree that still had water in it. I clipped the water and the back end of my car started to slide out but I fishtailed for a bit till I regained control of the car without ever touching the grass on either side of the road. I’m really lucky there wasn’t any oncoming traffic because one of my neighbours died in a similar situation a year later.
Driving down the main road from my village to the nearest supermarket and as I was coming around a corner my rear tire clipped a puddle that was in the shadow of a tree and my car started to spin, somehow I managed to recover after fishtailing down the road for about 50 metres but it was terrifying. If I had been slower to react or if I’d hit the brakes at any point I would’ve ended up either in a fence or in someone’s barn.
I just get treatment because I live in a country that actually provides its citizens with healthcare (even if the Tories want to get rid of that).
So all non domesticated animals are pests now? What about geese? Or deer? Are they all pests? They’re invasive species in certain countries too.
The reason there aren’t more dogs roaming is because dogs are a completely separate species from the wild wolves they descended from, house cats still interbreed with wildcats because we haven’t domesticated them yet.
They aren’t domestic animals they’re tame animals, they still haven’t diverged from wildcats and there are a bunch of wildcat/house cat crossbreeds because of that.
Oh the shock and horror, the animal that hasn’t been fully domesticated yet likes to be outside. Just because you let your cat go outside doesn’t mean you’re neglecting it.
There are 5 basic welfare needs: suitable environment, suitable diet, need to be housed with or without other animals (species specific), need to be protected from suffering/disease and the need to show natural behaviours. Sure most of them can be met indoors but you can’t provide a suitable environment or let them show natural behaviours unless you allow them to go outside when they need to or you live in a mansion that’s big enough for a cat to fill it’s territorial range.
I’m from the UK and I’ve never seen an automatic lawnmower unless it was on tv
Because given names used to be pretty much unique in each village and you wouldn’t travel much, that’s why only nobility had surnames and regular people didn’t. There’s no need to differentiate which Chris you mean if there’s only one Chris in the village.
I just moved into a new student dorm today and every single thing is done by a different app run by a different company and the “help desk” only say “use the app” whenever you have an issue. Only problem is I can barely even download the thing because the wifi is broken and I can’t report that I can’t connect to it because I can’t download the app to report it.
nvm not as annoying to find as it was when I went looking, wotc posted a 4k version in July https://www.dndbeyond.com/resources/1782-map-of-faerun
