But captive axolotls are not really true axolotls, they are different from the near extinct wild ones (they have a bit of tiger salamander mixed in). And this really only holds true if people breed their wild-caught aquatic animals - otherwise you are just grabbing a living being from its home and putting it in a tiny cage. There is a place for wild caught fish, but it doesn’t seem very kind to remove them from their habitat to languish in an aquarium for a fraction of their normal lifespan, which is undoubtedly what happens a lot…
I often just fail until it gets embarrassingly or super inconveniently bad. My only strategy that was ever even a little helpful was breaking the task into tiny micro 5 minute tasks and writing them all down, and doing a few of those at a time. I had adhd though, and am hoping medication will help with that (so far it has a bit).
It’s called enoughmuskspam
In one slice, cut a third off of each apple, and you’re left with 3 portions of 2/3 an apple each
I do this to keep stories or conversations moving as well, but I more often do so to avoid talking about something I don’t feel like sharing with them, because I know it’s going to draw more questions and I just don’t care to give that information or have that conversation.
The reason to care about that is to improve your chances of solving the problem. If it turns out they are doing that unintentionally, talking to them may fix or reduce your problem, pretty straightforward.
Maybe they don’t realize how far they’re wandering, it’s just worth a shot is all. It’s not the only option available anyway, people absolutely can get fines handed out as well. I have more aggressive location ideas where the cat poop can be placed as well…
That’s a horrible thing to do to someone’s pet
Don’t take your neighbours pet away. Don’t punish an animal that doesn’t know it’s doing anything wrong, punish the owner… by reporting them. Or relocating the cat shit to their front step. Or you can start by just talking to them
I would since I thought this was some kind of food until reading your comment (though it would be a bit overpriced for what looks like terrible cookies)
Depends which direction you’re coming from though
I think to really troll, you should try playing it a bit more stupid and oblivious, so people really buy it yknow. This feels a bit too on the nose, I believe you can do better
Wow that is genuinely chilling
I always attributed more to soil and sun, because I grow great tomatoes easily in my garden every year. This year I did have to fertilize a few times, and they are only ripening now. I’m on the Canadian Prairies so not exactly subtropical. And I’m not that good a gardener either, cucumbers are often a struggle for me and my beets always get demolished by birds. And it’s been a good 4 years of various weather here and still, nice tomatoes. I wonder if there are some more locally adapted strains you could try?
Check out exotic toad bulldogs for a step into the very wrong direction
Chickens originated from the red jungle fowl which is a much leaner and flighted bird (as are certain breeds of chicken) We’ve made modern chickens into something that can’t survive in the wild, much like we turned wolves into pugs!
Also pugs, or Scottish fold cats… and those are creatures we love and keep as pets, not even livestock, and we still do it
