Love PCSX2. I play a lot of old games as they have a charm to them and no micro transactions
Iv never tried it on my wm. Ill dow load it and give it a shot.
Great choice, i prefer bottles over wine for that reason
Bitwarden or KeePassXC is my favorite too :)
Kde connect is great, iv always thought about using it but never got round to it as im current using a wm instead of a desktop environment. If i was to switch to a desktop environment kde would be my first choice as it has so many features.
I wish i knew about this during my degree
Ill look into the first 2, I’ve never heard of them. Proxmox has always interested me, once i get myself a home server i was going to try it out.
I tried this, it was a pretty cool app. Has it been facing any issues since youtube is trying to block 3rd party apps using their api? My piped app sometimes goes down and i need to wait for an update to fix it
Thanks ill try this :)
Oh yeah, i didnt even think to do that. Thats a great tip ;)
Same here, iv linked them bitwarden and offered to set it up
Mint or fedora workstation is very user friendly
They have to be listening all the time if you have voice activation. The mic always needs to be open so it knows when you say “hey siri” or “hey google”. How would it know you said that if it didnt already listen to every word. The question is if that stays local on the device.
Using password managers. All of my friends and family refuse to use them but always complain about getting locked out of accounts due to forgetting login details. I leave them too it now.

Those was kind of jokey answers, i really like using mine as a back up for documents via syncthing to view when im out if i need it. Much prefer this than uploading to cloud storage. I also use syncthing to have my save states for emulators sync from my phone to pc so i can contiune where i left off on the other device
Plugging headphones into a jack port and taking the back of to replace battery.
Amazon kindle. It didnt let me plug it into my computer and upload books to use it without internet access. Everything needed sending through amazon. I should have expected this but it was so locked down and filled with ads to the point it was unusable. I attempted to jailbreak it and it bricked so i threw it away and went back to using calibre on my computer. I would really like an offline open source ebook reader.
Some great apps on here, downloading some of the suggestions to try out
