Ah, the lure of power.
Hey, that’s how I find out the world news nowadays. Submarine implosion, armed rebellion, mysterious plane crash, those all came through.
There seems to be 20, some nonextant.

It’s already behind a paywall. But it was really a sting operation, using fake “secure” phones, to catch criminals, by skirting constitutional requirements.
I personally think you have to be careful. If they don’t like your application and find that you are not disclosing the information, it might become a justification to reject the application. Remember that there are 3rd parties that massively correlate internet data that are sold to governments and corporations. Unless you accounts definitely cannot be linked to your real identity, there is a chance that they will find out what social accounts you have anyway.
It seems more or less. Have you seen the recent news about US government’s arrangement to have an eastern European country running a platform to collect data on its own citizens to skirt around the warrant law? If citizens are being treated as such, how are non-citizens being treated?
This article specifically addresses Visa applications. So, if the person is already applying for a citizenship, there is most likely already a residency which doesn’t require Visa on entry. There also seems to be a different set of rules for people already in the country. From the article:
And while the court recognized the First Amendment rights of noncitizens currently present in the United States who limit their online speech because they may need to renew a visa in the future, it held that the federal government’s regulation of immigration should be granted significant deference.
The SSD’s performance is so high, it’s pretty much possessed. Sleeping function would probably require incantation.
No, unfortunately, I haven’t. Maybe sometime…

Things to be hopeful
The challenges posed by climate change are real and pressing, but I believe that the apocalyptic views dominating these discussions lack a strong scientific basis. Much of what we see represents the most dramatic studies. It’s essential to consider that there are numerous studies showing a much less dire future that are overlooked or underrepresented in the media. By acknowledging the complexity of the issue and taking a balanced approach to the available scientific evidence, we can better understand the challenges ahead and work toward a more optimistic and solution-oriented outlook.
Perpetuating this legacy is important so that ignorance does not govern this world. At the end of the day, we will adapt, and his generation will live a life that is different than ours. By keeping in mind that what matters most in the end is happiness and the community that surrounds you, life is worth living.
You’re going to hear a lot of people saying extreme things about this like “We’re all doomed” or “The world won’t be able to support life in 20 years.” But science has shown that it’s not too late to solve this problem before it becomes unmanageable. There are a lot of people who do understand the problem and are working really hard to solve it. There are great ideas out there for fixing this, such as how to use less energy and, for the energy that we must use, how to get it from the sun or the wind instead of burning more fossil fuels.
If they knew it wasn’t going to work, why ask for it at the first place. Red herring? Ask for something big to trade for something smaller? Drama for the bored?
You are right. The EMUI outside of China is still based on Android with its own eco-system, although the other EMUI is also based on HarmonyOS which may/may not be compatible with Android, especially in the future. It seems, the phone has disappeared from some international markets altogether, the countries being friendly to China or not, probably because consumers are worried that their phones wouldn’t be supported by critical apps.
Well, you squeeze them, and they squeeze you back. Typical. Like, the US is not expecting that.
Besides the chips, there are still the OS. It’ll take a while yet, if ever, for Huawei phones to gain traction again outside of China. What would you buy: Qualcomm/MediaTek/Huawei(SMIC) chip? What would you buy: Android/Huawei OS?
Congratulations for being handful.

With airlines, it still seems to be voluntary and justified by convenience. (https://www.businessinsider.com/american-airlines-facial-recognition-boarding-dfw-aviation-trend-2019-8)
For boarding-crossing trip related to CBP, it seems you can still explicitly opt-out, possibly incurring inconveniences. But it maybe less voluntary in the long run (also because of inconveniences.)
For foreigners needing to travel in-and-out of the US, they will always be more willing to submit to the whims of Airport/US authorities.
“Mr President, we have no armors to protect the planes against bombs’ fragmentation.”
“Very well, let them have car tires.”
ps: it must be effective against something.
Eat them before you eat anything else. When you are hungry, foods tend to taste better, and your body is not trying to tell you to stop eating yet.
