Then look up what will happen to the earth with all the unreflected solar radiation we’ll be absorbing without the ice caps.

Sometimes I see signs I can read but that’s about it.

A while back I had an incredibly vivid dream about getting to and on the tube at King Herod station. That tube logo roundel with the name in the strike through was so, so clear and in several places in the station, along with a map of the line I could read. Upon waking I spent a good ten minutes googling it as I was so convinced it had to be a memory and was a real place.

Books and the internet have never worked for me in dreams though and I’ve had plenty of dreams where I’ve been trying to text someone and couldn’t as the keyboard was gibberish and words didn’t work.

And kinda related I suppose- I had a dream I was trying desperately to unlock my phone throughout this long adventure, and when I woke up my memory of my phone unlock glyph was fried as I’d basically overwritten it by doing it wrong so many times in the dream.

The whole following day had me freaking out trying to unlock my phone, to the point of drawing the nine dots out in my notebook over and over and over again, trying to link them up in the way I knew had to be right but wasn’t working.

When it finally came back I realised that I’d been drawing it out mirror flipped all day. It’s made me slightly uneasy ever since for some reason. It hasn’t helped that I’ve started to notice other mirror flipped things in dreams after that too.

Think about why is it demeaning to call a man a ‘sissy’. What is that comparing him to?

And calling a man a cuck is emasculating because it implies he is weaker than, and controlled by, who?

I was working under a different understanding where emasculation is humiliation due to lack of ‘traditional masculine trait’

Men who lack ‘traditional masculine traits’ or behave in ‘un-manly’ ways are referred to with what sort of language?

Emasculation happens when ‘feminine behaviour’ in men removes pervieved power and agency and makes them feel degraded. Bare in mind, weakness is considered a feminine behaviour.

What removes power and agency from women is not us displaying masculinity, it’s having our gender and sex used against us and/or against our will.

So being percieved as overly emotional/unstable, sexually promiscuous, not capable of intelligence or leadership, etc. and being raped and physically manhandled.

That is what is degrading to women.

Eh they cracked down hard on all queer and trans stuff to the point of banning users over posting fully clothed selfies, but hetro cis stuff is still everywhere.
The pornbots have been around for years but they’ve ramped up big time since Tumblr Live came online.

I didnt visit my tumblr for a week and acquired 30 new pornbot followers.

Not really. My old account had a curated list of subreddits that was vast (hundreds) and content-wise, kept me miles away from the ugliness that is the actual front page content of reddit.

I went and browsed the front page once after deleting my account and felt kinda sick tbh.

I did go read the episode discussions for several Strange New Worlds episodes and Fionna and Cake though. I miss those big group moments where all the details are discussed and appreciated and nowhere else really has that in the same scale (I hate discord and it’s not the same).
