In Mint you can install flatpaks from the software manager and those get updated by the update manager. So it’s all still one click.
Apparently it’s something called file roller, which shows up in Mint as Archive Manager. And yes, I had to look that up right now. Never thought about it before.
It’s not white hot yet. I think we still have a few MHz of headroom.
