  • I don’t understand what you mean. You want an example of a history book that isn’t propaganda? Wtf if your goal here? Pick any history book that just tells history. What a stupid question lol

    You want an example of an American history book that’s taught in schools that ISN’T American propaganda? First of all, I’m not American. Second of all, it’s a ridiculous ask for someone online to look through curriculum textbooks and find one example of one that isn’t propagandized for you so you can make a point. Like, it’s such a silly ass request that I almost didn’t bother responding to you.



  • I think I have better intentions than the American propagandists that make the curriculums. I don’t think “telling weird lies about the founding fathers to make them sound awesome” is a necessity, and I question the ability and motives of anyone who makes that part of the curriculum. I didn’t realize this was gonna be a controversial take.

    I’d argue that world history is more informational and important to make civic decisions, especially in an imperialist world power like the states, than simply localized history. It just seems highly propagandized, and ignores almost entirely the global impact of the actions your country takes.
