Nah I agree. I also have to remind myself of similar when talking about artist I don’t like. You gotta give props where they’re due and I think her sales number do a lot of that talking. I don’t like most of her music either, won’t deny I loved blank spaces but have been aware of Swifties for a minute. Again however, any shade I throw at the first coworker who I’m thinking of I can’t do without mentioning it was over a decade ago. Swift has had a growing, nearly fervent fan base since. As “pop” as it may be, which I don’t generally like, if I thought it was that shit why don’t I go out and make said shit and become a millionaire?

  • And I’m not under NDA. I have signed no contracts, made no verbal agreements; I haven’t even clicked through a EULA.  This message does pop up when I launch Deadlock, but I didn’t click OK; instead, I hit the Escape key and watched it disappear.

I’m not a lawyer but I sure hope the writer of this checked with a lawyer before posting because that does not sound right.

Edit: Thank you Vodulas for pointing out this update appended to the article.

Update, August 12th: Turns out Valve was not fine with me trying Deadlock with friends; I’ve been banned from matchmaking! Oh well. Please feel free to make fun of me in the comments!

Great. Now I’m going to have vet every migrant that comes in on the off chance they resurrect the local arsehole population. I of course mean badgers, but also Goblins to a lesser extent. They’re weird enough living let alone undead. I’ve never also seen that on a dorfs sheet, thank goodness.

Cheers for the write up! I’ll probably just go a simple one when I do mine, probably involving my first real dive down to the depths, with children king hitting giant olms and finding things that shouldn’t ever be found.

You’d have to ask a physicist. I would be surprised if you couldn’t make other liquids “wet”. The solid analogy helps with conceptualising an interface, one material on another. I suppose you could make water wet, by freezing a block and then splashing said block with water but that doesn’t equate to it being wet itself, if that makes sense.

  • This is a pretty poor reply from a moderator. The user you’re replying to is correct. Not only that, it is staggering that someone who mods a sub of this type is advocating for self diagnosis. Sharing coping mechanisms is one thing but advocating what amounts to circumventing mental health help is frankly irresponsible. I don’t see how anyone could find it even rational to advocate to the potentially mental ill to diagnose themselves.

  • What do you guy think was the intention with this?

I’m not trying to ascribe meaning to it… just wondering if anyone is familiar with the potential symbology

Then after being told, with image examples, that it’s a natural formation.

I grew up in a literal haunted house.

I am 100% serious, though being diagnosed later in life with bipolar type 1…

Given the last line I would suggest to you that it’s probably not a bad idea to get in touch with your usual doctor/psych and talk to them. Especially if you are prescribed medication as BD can make adherence to a medication regimen difficult as I’m sure you’re aware.

Always remember, if in doubt, take these questions to a medical professional rather than the internet. Here you could be getting advice from people more unwell than you are and don’t know about your situation or BD.
