  • I’m not an archeologist in any way, but yeah what you said makes way more sense than what the article describes. It would be nearly suicide to wait for a big animal to charge at you and then try to pike them with a spear. There are so many safer and equally efficient ways to use a spear to kill an animal.

Just off the top of my head i can imagine lots of ways to do it. Like use 10 foot spears and herd the animal into a trench, then a bunch of guys can safely stab it from above. Or herd it into an enclosed area and then drop a bunch of heavy logs into the exit so the animal is trapped, then throw spears at it from a safe area. Etc

People throwing away crust isn’t even a grain of sand in the ocean of food waste. But as stated in my original comment, you can choose to eat the crust if that feels important to you. And even though you would be wrong for pressuring other people to eat crusts, the other person should do whatever the fuck they want despite your pressuring

    Fuck that.

    • You’re a grown ass adult, eat whatever you want

If you don’t like the taste of crust and have enough money that you don’t need to make use of every piece of food, then don’t eat the crust.

If you don’t like the taste of crust but think it has some benefit, then eat the crust.

If you don’t like the taste of crust but are broke and want to eat the crust to feel full so you can spend more money on other stuff, then eat the crust.

If you like the taste of crust but want to save the crusts to make an art piece out of them, then don’t eat the crust.

YOU’RE AN ADULT, YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT, DON’T LET SOCIETY PRESSURE YOU TO DO OTHERWISE

For most people under 50 i would guess they cant remember which it was. Even 40 years ago there were lots of arcade games, home game systems, and little portable game devices. So most people under 50 probably can’t remember the actual first one they played.

But you can answer the question “what’s the first video game that you remember playing?”

For me it was some atari 2600 game that a much older cousin had, i don’t remember which specific game it was.

  • That seems like a very powerful medication with a lot of effects and side effects that you would only want to use as a last resort. Wiki says it has effects on serotonin and dopamine receptors, which are also receptors effected by zoloft, so if seroquel helps you then you might want to consider switching to zoloft. But honestly what the hell do either of us know, we’re just sharing anecdotes, which is useful but shouldn’t be assumed to be true.

  • Yeah i WISH i could control when i sleep, but I have lifelong serious problems falling asleep. I’ve tried all the things people talk about - counting sheep, no screen right before bed, melatonin, meditation, exercise early in the day, etc etc. Some of them help somewhat sometimes, but so far there’s no fix. Actually there was one thing that totally fixed it, which was taking zoloft. Taking it at noon everyday completely fixed my lifelong sleeping problems even though it did little to help the depression i had back then. Now that i say it, i think i should start taking it again just because it fixed my sleep so completely.
