Ahhh rule 34. The only thing you can count on from the internet
Don’t think about that. No matter what it’s always worth it for the fluff
Oh no worries. I’ll try to answer what I can.
I’m currently daily driving Windows due to uni but once that’s done I want to fully switch to Linux. I’m just starting to spread my wings outside of Ubuntu right and see what’s out there. Heard of openSUSE Tumbleweed from websites and youtube and thought “Hey why not give it a shot”. The UI looks real neat as well. I’m not really looking for a gaming focused distro right now. Just something that I can daily drive and occasionally play games with.
Thanks for the detailed reply! The limited userbase is definitely something to think about. Thankfully, I like reading documentaion and it’s nice to know openSUSE has that!
Hey we have the same GPU. Good to know it works well
I’m glad your loving it! It looks like a beautiful distro. Hopefully it ends my distro hopping too!
Thanks! I’ll keep in mind the Steam flatpak thing.
I mean the only people who need to know the side effects are either immunocompromised or old. Their choices are get a little sick after getting the vaccine or die. The former is very very enticing
Strand type games are truly one of the game genres of all time. Bravo
On a more serious note, I am curious on what he’s cooking with the pandemic as an inspiration
I like to call it “The Great Stumble Backwards”
China’s Four Pests campaign is a great example. As the campaign says, China had a bit of a pest problem. One of these particular pests was the sparrow. The government decided it would be a great idea to launch an “exterminate sparrows” campaign. The only problem was sparrows ate other pests such as bedbugs and locusts.
In short, they sucessfully curbed the “sparrow problem” and replaced it with a “locusts and bedbugs problem”. This ultimately upset the ecological balance and further lowered the rice yields. It was a complete disaster
I used both and they’re safe enough
There’s none at the moment but there is a Github issue about it. I only linked one however there are multiple open issues about it on the dev’s github page.
It’s great!! At first I wasn’t too into it, but I leaned in to my chaotic stupid bard shenanigans and I am having a blast. The dialogue and VAs are fantastic, especially Astarion’s (who doesn’t!?). This is my first cRPg and it’s good introduction to beginners new to the genre. Choices are remembered by characters so be careful. Combat can be confusing at times because I’m dumb and don’t play DnD.
