    I agree. You jump into a comment section and it’s always “don’t believe the studies and the headlines, believe this unevidenced fascist propaganda instead!” It’s getting to the point that I’ve been skipping over comment sections. I don’t need gaslit by a bunch of bootlickers. I’m already wasting too much of my time counteracting climate disinformation. It’s good to see that many others are doing the same but… honestly, I left reddit because I want a place to socialize, not to fight.

    But that’s the whole point, right? Degrade non-corporate experiences to keep people hooked into the propaganda mainline. Make it so we can’t have a conversation without being overwhelmed by hostile authoritarians working to reinforce the status quo. It’s so exhausting.
